DAY TRAINING
Our Day Training program is one of our most popular options—perfect for busy pet owners. Drop your dog off in the morning at our South End facility and pick them up in the afternoon for a one-on-one lesson. Throughout the day, they receive 6–8 tailored training sessions, socialization with other dogs, refreshing pack walks through a high-distraction urban environment, treadmill workouts, and much-needed rest and attention. Enjoy lifetime access to our group “Club” classes, app-based resources, and trainer support to confidently reinforce good behaviors at home.
BOARD AND TRAIN PROGRAMS
Ideal for particularly busy schedules or challenging behaviors, our Board & Train programs (available in 3- or 5-week durations) immerse your dog in consistent, professional training. They’ll receive on- and off-leash obedience work in real-world scenarios—plus equipment like e-collar, slip leash, clicker, and treat pouch. The extended 5-week option also includes deeper behavior modification and lifestyle training. A final turnover session equips you with the tools to keep progress going. And yes, lifetime group class access comes included.
GROUP CLASS (CLUB)
The Group Training Club at Obedient K9 Academy, included for life with most programs, offers Saturday classes that reinforce obedience in real-world, high-distraction settings. Led by professional trainers, sessions cover advanced obedience, recall, leash manners, and settling skills, with specialized work on reactivity, resource guarding, and “leave-it.” Fun games, agility for advanced dogs, urban pack walks, and social meetups—sometimes at dog-friendly breweries—keep your dog confident, well-mannered, and engaged while connecting you to a supportive training community.
OBEDIENCE TRAINING
Whether your dog needs foundational lessons or advanced manners, our Obedience Training program covers it. We start with basic commands—sit, down, come, heel, place, crate—and extend to advanced skills like off-leash obedience, long-distance recall, and customized behavior modification. Our experienced trainers use balanced, tailored techniques to strengthen the bond between dog and handler, boost confidence, and ensure safety and social ease.
PUPPY TRAINING
Set your puppy up for success with our specialized Puppy Training package, featuring eight private sessions covering basic commands and real-world obedience. Optionally, the 2-Week Board & Train package (for pups under six months) focuses on crate training, housebreaking, and establishing healthy routines and pack structure. A one-on-one consultation helps tailor your pup’s early training path.
SERVICE DOG TRAINING
Our Service Dog Training Program preps dogs to assist individuals with disabilities, from visual or mobility impairments to medical alerts, autism support, PTSD, and more. It begins with temperament evaluation and obedience training, includes public access challenges, and progresses to tasks customized to each handler’s needs—like guiding, mobility help, hearing alerts, medical detection, or psychiatric support. We support handlers and their dogs through every step toward dependable, skilled companionship.
