Dog Day Training Program in Charlotte, NC

Bring your dog to our facility for the day to train while you are away at work.

Our day train option is an award winning dog training program that 90% of our clients choose. You drop your dog off between 7am-9am at our South End training facility, and get a one-on-one private lesson at pickup between 3pm-7pm. We do this 1-2 days per week, depending on what we recommend from your free transformation session.

How Our Day Training Program Works

While at school, during each drop off, your dog gets:

6-8 training lessons with a professional trainer (customized based on your goals)
8 hours of socialization with other dogs that are being professionally trained
1-2 pack walks in high distraction environments around South End
2 treadmill sessions
Plenty of water, nap breaks, and love from our staff!

During the program, our clients have access to Club, our version of group classes every Saturday. The best part is, our clients get access to group training for the life of their dog at no extra cost! Meaning, you can continue to train and socialize with our staff at our facility for free!

Upon graduating, clients will get access to weekly meetups at breweries or more advanced group training opportunities on a Tuesday or Thursday evening. Again, free of charge!

Why does this program get such amazing results?

You, the human, are just as important to train, than just the dog. Most training companies provide only board & train programs where they just train the dog. Then we at Obedient K9 have to retrain those dogs and the humans in the future, because they didn’t spend enough time teaching the humans. After all, most dog issues are created and reinforced unknowingly by us! If we don’t know what we are doing wrong, then it’s only a matter of time until a board & trained dog goes right back into its old habits!

With the day train model, we are able to train both the human and the dog…and create weekly homework to keep the owner accountable. You get to see first-hand the change in your dog, but more importantly, learn how to maintain the change so that you never need to hire another trainer again!
